The menu at Chez Sami in downtown Lubbock has officially grown. Thanks to a partnership with Emerald House Bakery, the restaurant now serves breakfast and lunch. The pastry cook Noah Meek will be in charge of the pop-up bakery at Chez Sami for the next year. The bakery will serve freshly baked croissants, chocolate croissants, cinnamon rolls, and artisanal breads.
"Everything French," Meek said about the food on the menu.
The big opening weekend was a huge success. By 10:30 a.m., the bakery's display case was almost empty, having been fully stocked at 7 a.m. Meek spends more than eight hours getting ready to make his sweets, and he loves seeing how excited his customers in Lubbock are about them.
She said, "I really didn't think people would like my stuff as much as they do, which makes me feel very loved." "I'm thankful and love what I do very much."
The Emerald House Bakery pop-up at Chez Sami is now open for people who want to eat real, hand-made sweets.
