The online crime reporting system known as Cop Logic has been brought back online by the Lubbock Police Department, giving victims a more expedient option to enter reports concerning criminal activity.
Since September, the system has been momentarily inaccessible due to the Los Angeles Police Department's transition to new dispatch and records management technology. Residents now have the ability to report non-emergency offenses directly on the department's website. These crimes include theft, harassment, and violations of child custody responsibilities.
According to Sergeant Brandon Stewart, the technology improves efficiency by enabling victims to upload reports and images in an instant, hence minimizing the amount of time spent waiting for both the general public and law enforcement officials.
Please visit the website lubbockpolice.com and select the "File Crime Report" link in order to submit a report.
