Texas Tech's homecoming game against Baylor on October 19 has been scheduled for 3:00 p.m. kickoff, as announced by the Big 12 Conference on Monday. the contest will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.

Students, alumni, and spectators will unite to celebrate Texas Tech's homecoming week, which will conclude with this matchup. Texas Tech is on the brink of its fourth sellout of the season, and there is a scarcity of single-game tickets available for the Baylor game. To show their support for the Red Raiders, fans are encouraged to wear red.

On the field, Texas Tech will carry its undefeated 3-0 Big 12 record into the match against its long-time rival Baylor. The two teams, who have a history as former Southwest Conference members and current Big 12 foes, will meet for the 83rd time. Baylor currently leads the all-time series with a narrow 41-40-1 advantage. However, Texas Tech emerged victorious in the most recent fixture in 2023 in Waco.

Since joining the Big 12 in 1996, Texas Tech has maintained a 19-9 record against Baylor, with an impressive 8-1 record at home.
