Good Line Beer Co. took home the coveted Brewery of the Year title, while Two Docs Brewing Co. also medaled, further cementing Lubbock’s reputation as a rising force in the craft beer industry.
The competition, hosted by the Texas Craft Brewers Guild, saw 162 breweries across Texas submit 931 beers for judging in Austin this January.
Good Line Beer Co., located at 2611 Boston Ave., opened in 2022 and expanded to a second location, Good Line Public House in Wolfforth, in 2024. Good Line has previously gained national attention, earning a spot on Hop Culture's Best New Breweries of 2022 list.
Located in Lubbock’s downtown arts district, Two Docs Brewing Co. is well-known for its Raiderland Red Pale Ale, the official beer of Texas Tech University.
During the competition, Two Docs Brewing Co. earned a silver medal for its Tripel Tempest (Belgian Abbey Ales)
