CommuteAir Flight 4816, flying as United Express, arrived safely in Lubbock after the crew decided to change course. Officials said they chose to land in Lubbock because the weather was better.
The airline has not revealed the details of the maintenance problem, but there were no injuries to passengers or staff. Airport staff and authorities helped with a safe landing and supported visitors impacted by the situation.
