Adidas and Texas Tech University have officially signed a 10-year deal. This means that Adidas will be the only company that provides outfits, shoes, and clothing for all Red Raider sports teams. The deal, which was completed on December 6 after months of legal review, is worth $59.25 million.

$50 million worth of products are part of the deal, and $9.25 million in cash is set aside for rights fees, marketing, and athlete support. Jonathan Botros, Deputy Director of Athletics at Texas Tech, said that the product limit is meant to meet the needs of the department without costing more. "In the past, we've been spending a lot of money that wasn't from our allotment." "We won't have to do that from fiscal year 2025 on," Botros said.

The relationship was shown off on July 1 with the release of the football uniforms. This fall, all Tech sports teams have been wearing gear from Adidas. This all-encompassing agreement makes sure that all sports are played the same way and gives teams the tools they need to fight at the highest level.

With this important deal, Adidas strengthens its ties with Texas Tech, which will help the school's sports teams and give it an edge in the national competition.
