Lisa Lambert, Texas Tech Alum, Appointed U.S. Trustee for Texas Districts

Lisa Lambert, a graduate of the Texas Tech University School of Law, has been appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland to serve as the U.S. Trustee for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. Lambert is at the vanguard of the supervision of bankruptcy cases and trustees within these districts as a result of this prestigious position.

Lambert's successful profession commenced upon her graduation from Texas Tech Law, which was followed by a clerkship in East Texas. In 1998, she continued her journey by joining the U.S. Department of Justice, where she exhibited the dedication and expertise that culminated in her most recent appointment.

Lambert made substantial contributions to legal practices and proceedings during her 15-year tenure at the Justice Department's Dallas office. Furthermore, she demonstrated her dedication to the legal community by serving as a moot court coach at Texas Tech's law school for more than a decade, mentoring aspiring attorneys.

Lambert's professional accomplishments and profound connections to Texas Tech and the broader Texas legal landscape are emphasized by this appointment.
