Fans will be treated to a number of thrilling additions.

The introduction of a new "tap and go" mobile ticketing system is a critical feature that is designed to simplify stadium entry. Rather than QR codes, all football tickets will now be mobile-only and utilize wireless scanners.

To combat ticket fraud, Texas Tech will no longer accept screenshots of mobile tickets. Fans can use the official Texas Tech mobile app or TexasTech.com accounts to transfer tickets online.

Fewer than 500 tickets remain for the season opener against ACU, and single-game tickets for all seven home games are still available for purchase online or by calling 806-742-TECH.

Furthermore, the South End Zone Building has been enhanced by the installation of three new entry gates to facilitate supporters' movement. The pedestrian traffic on Sixth Street between the South End Zone Building and the Sports Performance Center will resume prior to the contest. However, access to the Womble Football Center will be restricted until construction is finalized.

The season will also include a drone display during the fourth quarter of the ACU game to commemorate the opening of the South End Zone Building. The Raider Walk will revert to its original route, enabling supporters to support head coach Joey McGuire and the Red Raiders as they make their way to their locker room.

Moreover, Texas Tech has broadened its concessions offerings by incorporating Big Chicken, a restaurant that was established by Shaquille O'Neal, as well as two new grab-and-go marketplaces.

This ensures that fans have an abundance of food options to choose from throughout the season.
