Monomyth Coffee, a popular local café in Lubbock, has been serving quality coffee since 2019 and has earned recognition and support from the community. The shop, located in a nearly century-old building near Avenue U and Broadway, was founded by brothers Trenton and Randall Jackson, who discovered the space through family connections.
Trenton Jackson believes the shop’s success is rooted in its community ties. “It’s a testament to the great work our team is doing and the impact we aim to make on guests,” he said. “The support from day one has been incredible, and we’re proud to represent Lubbock.”
Texas Tech sophomore Joshua Grimes describes Monomyth as his go-to spot, highlighting its welcoming atmosphere and quality service. For the Jackson brothers, the recognition the shop has received is humbling, especially as it reflects the strong community backing. “Seeing people cheer us on from the beginning has been really humbling,” Trenton added.
Randall Jackson sees a bright future for Lubbock and encourages local entrepreneurs to keep innovating. “Lubbock is a special place, full of creatives trying to do cool things. I’d encourage people to keep going,” he said.
The Jacksons thank the Lubbock community and look forward to welcoming anyone who walks through their doors, continuing to build on their reputation as a local gem.
