Milder Weather, Fog, and Scattered Showers Expected Across South Plains and Rolling Plains

On Tuesday, partly sunny to partly cloudy conditions will dominate the South and Rolling Plains, with high temperatures ranging from the upper 40s to the upper 50s. Winds will blow from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Sunrise happens at 7:46 AM CST, and sunset is at 6:15 PM CST.

Cloudy skies will linger into Tuesday night, with widespread fog developing overnight. Given a 50% chance of precipitation, areas of drizzle and scattered light rain showers are most likely. With southeast winds between 5 and 10 mph, lows will span the lower 30s to the middle 40s.

Wednesday will bring a 50% chance of scattered rain showers, drizzle, fog, and a cloudy sky. East-southeastern winds at 5 to 15 mph will keep high temperatures in the upper 40s to upper 50s. Sunrise occurs around 7:45 AM CST, and sunset occurs at 6:16 PM CST.

The week will see slow warming, but Saturdays and Sundays will find high temperatures in the lower 70s. Lows will start in the 30s midweek and drop into the 20s in some locations by Thursday and Friday mornings. 

Over the weekend, a milder trend will see lows in the 30s to 40s. Sundays will see highs ranging from the lower to upper 70s, providing a nice ending for the week.
