Plane Crash Near Lubbock Injures Pilot and Passenger

Friday morning two people were hurt when a tiny plane crashed close to the Lubbock Executive Airpark. About 10:30 a.m., the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office reported getting a call regarding the crash close to East 114th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Identified as Jeremy Wilson and Lacie Wilson, both 43, the victims were on the plane at the time of the collision. An ambulance carried them to University Medical Centre for treatment. Not yet revealed is the degree of their injuries.

As the inquiry is under progress, authorities are advising the people to stay away from the area. Regarding the aircraft's health or the reason of the collision, officials have not divulged more specifics.

The event happened close to the Lubbock Executive Airpark, a local private aviation hub. Law police and emergency teams stay on-site to evaluate the matter and guard the area.

As researchers find the reason of the crash and evaluate the state of the victims, more updates are anticipated.
