A news release from Tuesday said that Rudy Reyes will be the new CEO of the Children's Home of Lubbock and Family Service Agency. The Board of Directors unanimously chose Reyes as the new leader, saying they were sure he would help the organization's goal of bringing families together and helping them.
James Reyes takes over as CEO from Jimmy Moore, who has been in the job for eight years. Moore was pleased to welcome Rudy Reyes as the new leader of the Children's Home of Lubbock and Family Service Agency. We're sure he'll build on the 70 years of work that has already been done and lead the Home into a new, bright era.
Reyes talked about how excited he was about the job. He has years of experience working with families and kids. "It is a tremendous honor to join the Children’s Home of Lubbock, an organization whose mission aligns closely with my core values of being a kingdom builder through grace," said he. "I am committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families and look forward to leading the organization to new heights."
Children's Home of Lubbock will throw a party for Reyes on Monday, Oct. 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Heath-Roberson building on its grounds at 4404 Idalou Road. Staff, families, and the community will be able to meet the new CEO and hear about his plans for the future at the event.
