Lubbock ISD Teacher Placed on Leave After Students Sustain Burn Injuries

After reports surfaced that numerous children received burn injuries during a disciplinary exercise, an Evans Middle School teacher in Lubbock, Texas, has been placed on administrative leave. The incident occurred during the training. The Lubbock Independent School District (ISD) administration is currently conducting a thorough investigation.

A group of pupils were told by the instructor to conduct "bear crawls" on the outdoor track, which had become extremely hot as a result of the high temperatures.
