Lubbock native Eric Engleman, a volunteer at 7Brew on University Avenue, has left an indelible mark on both the staff and the patrons of the coffee shop after spending a year assisting in the establishment. Engleman, a native of Lubbock who is currently suffering being homeless, started spending time at the store regularly to engage in conversation with the employees. Eventually, he offered to assist with activities such as carrying out the trash.

"Everyone at this place has been quite friendly to me. As a result of my kindness toward them, and the fact that they are loving individuals, it feels like I am a family member," Engleman remarked.

His story drew the attention of a client of 7Brew named Madison Morgan, a licensed esthetician who posted about Engleman on Facebook. The message quickly gained widespread attention, which prompted Morgan to establish a GoFundMe campaign to assist Engleman in locating stable accommodation.

Morgan's efforts were lauded by 6Crew Enterprises' Chief Executive Officer, Kendra Harris. "To assist him in getting back on his feet, she has taken on his story. According to Harris, her objective is to help him secure stable employment and a place to live.

7Brew plans to contribute to the GoFundMe campaign and perform promotions to raise funds to support the endeavor. This coming Saturday, the shop will contribute one dollar to Engleman's GoFundMe campaign for every big drink purchased.

The narrative of Engleman has brought the community together, with both the firm and its customers coming together to support the campaign to assist Engleman in transitioning into stabilized housing.
